For further professionalization of the purchase, we are looking for a head of strategic purchasing (m/w/d).

As Head of Purchasing / Head of Procurement (m/w/d), you will be responsible for the international purchasing of raw materials, auxiliary materials, services and investments (CapEx). In this management position, you design the further shopping strategy and ensure optimal structures and processes as well as smooth interface communication.

There is already an existing structure in shopping that you can build on. Globally, however, the red thread is still missing. Their task is therefore: “Analysing. Harmonizing. Standardize.'' The aim is to develop purchasing from a pure procurement management to a strategic purchasing for all locations and units. This includes the implementation of shopping and product group strategies.

Reference number: SHE/127367 As Head of Strategic Purchasing (m/w/d), you are managing the global purchase of direct and indirect materials with a volume of approximately 90 million. Euro p.a. You are responsible for the development and coordination of your team over two hierarchical levels (Direct Reports / 20 employees) You continue to advance the professionalisation of strategic purchasing, including the implementation of methods and processes - such as the creation of product groups and the introduction of Category Buyer Identifying and implementing best practices related to purchase and process also belongs to your area of responsibility - also in close cooperation with other management functions A uniform data base as well as digitalization and automation play an essential role in this process. You maintain a global network and are responsible for tracking the supply chains. This also includes active management of supplier relationships together with your team

You have a successfully completed technical and commercial studies (e.g. industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, BWL) or a comparable qualification You have many years of experience in purchasing, ideally in an international, strategic, industrial and manufacturing environment You bring together sound know-how in the development and implementation of sustainable procurement strategies and are able to derive concrete measures from them and implement them successfully You combine strategic thinking with pragmatic action - you think visionary, but always have the feasibility in mind You have already gained experience with digitalization in purchasing and like to introduce new impulses Your knowledge of English is good to reliable
