During your dual study of electrical engineering, you combine well-founded theory with exciting practice. You will learn the theoretical content at the University of Applied Sciences in Soest, our long-term cooperation partner for dual study. In the practical part, you use your knowledge directly at KALDEWEI and work on modern technologies, automation solutions and innovative projects in an internationally successful industrial company.

At KALDEWEI, we connect steel and enamel, and you are already contributing to your application in one of our electrotechnical fields during your studies as well as after a successful degree. In the Industrial Informatics/Automatization Technology study focus, you are working intensively with topics such as Industry 4.0, Machine Learning, Electronics and Drives, Software Engineering and Embedded Systems and learn to use this thereotic knowledge in practice.

With your team, you will see the interface between production, maintenance, plant engineering, data collection and production control. This means you are involved in topics like Plant planning and design of retrofits from existing plants or new installations for the production of bath products and accessories. The optimization of production processes. System control and evaluations at server level, e.g. by SQL databases SPS plant and robot programming as well as the networking of robots and systems. Write software programs based on, for example, Python. Implementation of maintenance measures to ensure production availability. Become part of the digitalization of our highly automated production facilities and thus help our world's only production site to keep up to date here in Germany.
