The police office deployment, logistics and technology (PP ELT) is “DER” service provider of the police Rheinland-Pfalz. The expertise and competence of the seven divisions of the PP ELT include the specific operational support at national and federal level (professional police and special units) as well as the operational competence on the naval waterways of the country (water protection police). The tasks of procurement, technology and health management are carried out in national responsibility for all police authorities and for other authorities and organisations with a safety mandate from the Rhineland-Palatinate. In addition, the management of the staff and the budget as well as the premises of the Bureau are included. Locations of the Bureau are located throughout the federal state. Accommodations in Mainz, Enkenbach-Alsenborn, Koblenz and Wittlich-Wengerohr are supplemented by a total of seven water protection police stations and external offices as well as the location of the police helicopters in Winningen. The subject area ZLI 4 - Operation Control points and communication technology assumes responsibility for the technical and tactical support of the central interrogation and switching technology (zAVT) as well as communication technology (telephone systems) and serves as a link between services, the LDI and external companies. The timely processing of faults and requirements determines the majority of the daily tasks. The challenge is to modernise communication technology (KT). This applies to the framework conditions of IT security, the existing framework agreements on fixed-line telephony and telecommunications (TK) systems, as well as the heterogeneous inventory technology and infrastructure of approx. 130 allegations of the entire police of Rhineland-Palatinate. With the inclusion of central Unified Communications (UC) solutions with current performance features, a powerful voice communication, accompanied by the development of individual solutions, is to be built up. Complete study of computer science, communication technology or a comparable subject or relevant training (e.g. specialist in system integration) accompanied by skills and experience through long-term relevant professional activities Knowledge of VoIP technologies such as UNIFY OpenScape 4000, Cisco Call Manager, Asterisk, Avaya or similar solutions and protocols (SIP, RTP, H.323) Finded knowledge of the configuration and administration of Session Border Controllers (SBC) such as audio codes, Cisco CUBE or Ribbon SBC Comprehensive knowledge of the functioning of an SBC, the associated firewalls, switches as well as the peripheral devices and their programming Comprehensive knowledge of Unified Communications and Collaborations (UCC), BSI and the associated security mechanisms Knowledge of network technology (LAN, WLAN, VLAN, QoS) and network security Knowledge in the area of monitoring and performance analysis of VoIP systems Knowledge in the fields, ticket systems, ITIL, IT operation and infrastructure, contract management, incident communication, test management tools German knowledge at C1 level Experience in the administration of Linux and Windows servers desirable Experience with MS Office programs Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint Experience in the analysis and optimization of VoIP systems as well as Troubleshooting with tools such as Wireshark or other network analysis tools
