Responsibility for the strategic management of the purchase and the further development of the purchasing strategy in a dynamic environment Negotiation and conclusion of supply and framework contracts including commercial terms with national and international business partners Close cooperation and coordination with global purchasing to raise synergies and implement group-wide purchasing goals Professional and disciplinary leadership, promotion and further development of the purchasing team – including coaching, feedback and competence building Active interface management on technology, quality and production to achieve optimal solutions in terms of cost, quality and delivery Building, maintaining and developing a powerful supplier portfolio including selection, evaluation and development of strategic partners Takeover of project management and responsibility in cross-functional and cross-site teams – from idea to successful implementation Ensuring efficient processes and standards

Successfully completed technical studies, ideally in the field of mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field Multiannual experience in strategic and operational purchasing in an international environment, including demonstrable leadership experience English knowledge in word and writing as well as sovereign appearance in international negotiation and meeting situations Willingness to occasionally travel in Germany and abroad Strong negotiating skills, enforcement ability and the ability to represent interests clearly and at the same time in partnership High analytical competence, coupled with creativity and flexibility in the development of new procurement and delivery strategies High sense of responsibility, structured and targeted working
