Your role

With us you have the opportunity to optimally connect your studies and practice and to actively collaborate on exciting projects. Implementation of final work (and internships) in the field of the next generation of sensor systems

Development, implementation and commissioning of new concepts for optical measurement structures in the field of optical coordinate measurement technology

Evaluation and discussion of the measurement results in exchange with the optical sensor system group. Working with prototype development and validation in an interdepartmental team

Own-responsible work and reporting to supervisors and project partners.

Your profile

Studies in Physics, Physical Technology, Optical Technologies, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

First experience in work in optical laboratories: from concept phase to implementation to validation of measurement results

Advanced knowledge of the programming environments Matlab and Python for controlling measurement setups and for data evaluation

Advantages are: past projects concerning the fields goniometry, illumination technology or optical measurement technology; basic electrotechnical knowledge; Application experiences in the Raytracing software Ansys Zemax OpticStudio. Impressed team capacity and willingness to take responsibility for their own ideas and their implementation

Good knowledge of German and English
