Textile Manager REACH Division (m/w/d)

Our client is an established international company in northern Baden-Württemberg, Hohenlohekreis. Currently, our client is looking for a textile manager (m/w/d) for the REACH department as part of the unlimited permanent appointment and full time! Construction and implementation of a CMS: Development of a group-wide chemical management system for structured early detection, risk assessment and regulatory control. The aim is to consistently comply with legal requirements such as REACH, CLP and ZDHC throughout the supply chain. Analysis and optimization: Examination of existing chemical and quality processes for efficiency and conformity. Identification of potential for improvement and implementation of quality assurance, substance avoidance and sustainable process design measures. Cooperation and advice: Close cooperation with product development, purchasing, sustainability and quality assurance to introduce new standards. Professional support of product development processes and advice on regulatory requirements at global level. External interface: Responsibility for communication with test institutes, authorities such as ECHA and with European associations and industry platforms. Monitoring of certification procedures and coordination of test orders. Knowledge management and strategy: creation of technical opinions, risk assessments and training concepts. Detection of well-founded recommendations for action for internal areas and active participation of product strategies as well as sustainability goals.

Professional experience: Multiannual experience in chemical management of textile products, compelling with proven expertise in REACH, complemented by knowledge in CLP, SVHC evaluation, hazardous material management or ZDHC Education and studies: Complete study of textile engineering, chemical engineering, environmental engineering or process engineering, or a comparable scientific or engineering discipline, or suitable training with further education in the field knowledge and IT: knowledge of European chemicals law and the handling of databases and systems such as IUCLID, SCIP or RAPEX; Experience with SAP S/4HANA is beneficial. Authorities and certification management: experience in cooperation with authorities, certification bodies, suppliers and in exchange with European associations and regulatory institutions. Language and social competence: German and English, high intercultural competence as well as a self-sponsored, structured and cooperative way of working in international project environments.
