He advises the BDEW member companies on political and strategic issues and is an active designer in energy policy by introducing impulses for the energy supply of tomorrow in politics and society. The division represents, on the one hand, the political interests of the energy and water industry vis-à-vis the political decision-makers – and, on the other hand, reflects current political and social debates into the association. It plays a key role in the interface between national and European energy policy. The main focus is on current legislative proposals as well as on policy issues in energy policy.
