Naval architect / Corrosion protection and coating technician (m/f/d)

Do you want to participate in technically demanding projects and ensure that complex systems are permanently protected and work reliably? Then you can expect a versatile task with technical depth and a lot of design space. Your tasks: You develop technical concepts for coating and corrosion protection systems for our ships based on project and customer requirements and document them comprehensible. Based on this, you plan the design and arrangement of anodes as well as alternative integration solutions for holders and foundations, for example by adhesive methods, taking into account existing control mechanisms. For the respective shipbuilding projects, you create clear coating and execution specifications and evaluate surfaces for further processing. Construction, construction and order specifications as well as test and detection documents are prepared, processed and maintained by you. You integrate plants and systems into the overall system and coordinate technical interfaces with adjacent specialist areas. Subsuppliers' offers are technically tested, work closely with them and accompany the implementation from a professional perspective. At exams, acceptances and technical evidence, you actively participate and document the current technical state of your responsibility. As a technical contact person, you can support questions about repairs, coating processes and corrosion assessments.

Complete technical studies or technical training (shipping, mechanical engineering, aerospace or comparable) Professional experience of about 2–5 years in a similar activity or motivated career entry with appropriate suitability and desire to learn new things Safe technical understanding as well as the ability to identify and present complex relationships in a structured manner Knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD systems, ideally Siemens NX and AutoCAD or BricsCAD Embossed communication capability Basic knowledge of common coating and corrosion protection systems (e.g. epoxide, polyurethane, zinc) and knowledge of the regulatory design of coating and corrosion protection systems, e.g. according to DIN standards, are advantageous Standing for occasional international missions (about 5 %)
