Electrical Engineer - Automation Technology (m/f/d)

Analysis of customer requirements for electrotechnical components and systems in the environment of automation and control technology and coordination of the hardware interfaces with internal and external stakeholders Planning, coordination and control of (further) development and Selection of electrotechnical components and systems, including the determination and monitoring of work sequences in the team independent design designs and analyses for electrotechnical automation concepts, documentation of the results and development of architectural and hardware specifications taking into account functionality, cost-effectiveness and skills Ensuring a design that meets the requirements, integration of the components into the overall system, as well as ensuring testability and electrical safety in cooperation with specialist departments Support for product management in the care of product roadmaps, handling obsolescence and change management as well as production of the associated production documents

Complete university studies in electrical engineering, automation technology or a comparable discipline as well as several years of professional experience with well-founded expertise in systems and distinct product understanding Deep knowledge in automation and control technology, experience in the development and design of hardware components and electronic systems, as well as safe handling of relevant standards, electrical safety and test/validation methods Experience in Systems Engineering, Requirement Management and Technical Documentation Outstanding analytical skills, high communication strength and proven experience in interdisciplinary project work and coordination Very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing and willingness to occasional national and international missions
