• Professional and disciplinary management of a growing team of automation and robotics specialists: in the current four employees and the management of selected automation projects

• Coordination of technical automation concepts and design for automation requirements with users, manufacturing technology and product developers

• Cross-site exchange of concepts, standards, know-how and development resources

• Development of location-specific automation solutions – also in cooperation with external cooperation partners and as part of funded research projects

• Continuous monitoring and evaluation of technological developments in industrial automation, research and system providers as well as deriving concrete applications in microelectronics, manufacturing, testing of electronic assemblies and logistics

• Advice and support of technology centres in the selection and integration of purchasing automation solutions

• Work and co-design of industrial 4.0 and digitalization projects (e.g. data analytics) as well as design of the interfaces between MES and manufacturing automation

• Complete technical studies with a focus on automation technology or robotics, with a scientific background (e.g. promotion) or comparable qualification

• Found experience in the realization of robotics and automation solutions, ideally in the context of electronics production

• Experience in at least one programming language (e.g. Python) and practice in neural networks, network technology and system architecture of automation solutions

• Experience in requirement analysis, cost-effectiveness calculation and project management – also using agile methods (e.g. Scrum)

• readiness to cross-site travel activities to coordinate automation concepts

• Sovereign appearance in the professional leadership of an expert team as well as in presentation and voting situations

• Structured, independent and solution-oriented working in a technologically demanding environment

• Secure handling of PC and standard office applications

• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (German at least B2)
