The energy supply Halle Netz GmbH (“Netz Halle”) is the 100% subsidiary of EVH GmbH of the grid operators for electricity, gas and district heating in Halle (Saale) within the Stadtwerke-Halle-Konzern. With around 320 employees, she is responsible for the safe, efficient and future-oriented operation of the electricity and gas distribution networks in the urban area and, with a turnover of around €150 million, forms the main pillar of municipal services for around 240,000 inhabitants. The grid operation current stands for considerable growth: The team will be significantly expanded in the coming years. The massive increase in renewable energies and the increasing electrification of heat and mobility require not only the expansion of the network itself, but above all a profound modernization of secondary technology, which protects and controls this network. The task in detail – an extract: Maintenance & Protection Database: Coordination and compliance with maintenance tasks and maintenance of plant data in the protection database Start-up & Testing: Responsibility for commissioning and repetition testing in the network protection systems and at the control devices as well as coordination of the interfaces between field and station control technology Error analysis: Analysis of results of maintenance activities as well as the triggering behavior of the protection systems in the event of a fault Calculation & Season Plans: Calculation of Protection Adjustments and Creation of Staffel Plans for Line Protection Settings in Simple Ring Networks Documentation: Responsibility for electronic archiving of parameter data Interface Construction & Standing: Representation of specialist groups in construction site consulting, evaluation of new testing techniques and participation in standby services

Foundation: Completed technical training in the field of electrical engineering / energy technology (process automation) or a comparable electrotechnical qualification Professional safety: Multiannual professional experience in the field of protection and secondary technology – also from adjacent environments such as industrial protection technology, energy service or refinery operations Electrical engineering meets IT: You not only feel at home in classic protective equipment technology, but also bring affinity for parameterizing digital protective relays, for PLC programming and for digital process design with Switching permission & mobility: Switching authorization for 30 kV to 110 kV systems is advantageous – can be built up in the company with appropriate suitability; Car driver's license Analytical thinking: You analyze fault images systematically, derive causes and document your results comprehensible Communication & ownership: You carry out switching talks securely, represent the specialist group sovereignly in construction site consulting and also keep an overview of several parallel tasks – with readiness and motivation to participate in courses
