Responsibility – you bear the overall responsibility for the educational, organisational and economic orientation and further development of the ATA/OTA school. Development – together with your team, you develop a contemporary, competence-oriented training concept for both courses (ATA and OTA) according to ATA-OTA-APrV and ensure the quality of the training continuously. Leadership – you run the ATA/OTA teaching team professionally and personally, responsible for service and deployment planning as well as promoting the educational and professional development of employees. Control – you control the teaching organization, coordinate curricula, teaching planning, practical phases and exams and ensure transparent processes. Cooperation – you represent the ATA/OTA school in the interior and exterior, and expand cooperation with clinics, practical facilities and other educational partners and develop networks in the region. Moderation – you initiate and moderate school development processes, for example in the areas of simulation, skills training, interprofessional cooperation and the interconnection of ATA and OTA training. Quality & legal certainty – you ensure compliance with the federal legal requirements (ATA-OTA-G and ATA-OTA-APrV) and continuously develop the quality management of the school. Communication – you are a contact person for trainees, practical managers (m/w/d), teachers and external partners and contributes to a value-adding, open and educational culture.

You complete our team if you have a completed training as a surgical assistant (OTA) or as a nursing specialist with surgery/anesthesia specialist training or an equivalent degree in a health profession; a qualification or well-founded experience in the field of anaesthetic assistance (ATA) is desirable. has a completed (special) university degree in medical, nursing, health or professional education or a comparable degree course. multiannual professional experience in the field of surgery and well-founded experience in OTA/ATA training, ideally already in a management or deputy management function.
