We are looking for a leading study Nurse (m/w/d) for the department "Personalized Medical Oncology" under the direction of Prof. Dr. Sonja Loges at the DKFZ-Hector Krebsinstitut. Reference number: 2026-0147 We are a multidisciplinary team of nursing staff, documentation assistant:inside, Study Nurses, doctor:inside. We are looking for an experienced and committed Study Nurse (m/w/d) to coordinate and manage the translational study ambulance of the DKFZ-Hector Krebsinstitut in Mannheim. They take responsibility for the operational and human coordination of clinical trial teams and ensure the highest quality standards in all stages of the study, from initiation to follow-up. Team management & coordination Technical and organizational management of the study-nurse team (currently 3-5 persons) at the Mannheim site Coordination of cooperation between Study Nurses, examiner:inside, laboratory staff and the study centre Introduction, Training and Continuous Training of Team Members and Student Assistants Active participation in the further development and optimization of study-specific processes and workflows Clinical study coordination Responsible coordination of ongoing interventional and non-interventional clinical trials of phases I–III, in particular Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs) in the field of lung cancer and immunooncology Patient:internal assistance throughout the study participation Coordination and monitoring of study-specific studies (blood sampling, vital parameters, EKG, study medication after delegation) Biobanking and sample logistics within the framework of liquid biopsy protocols (CTCs, ECVs, cfDNA) Regulatorics & quality assurance Ensuring compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines, SOPs, AMG/GCP-V and data protection regulations (GDPR) Preparation, monitoring and follow-up of sponsor initiations, monitoring visas and government inspections (BfArM, Ethics Commission) Creation and maintenance of study-specific documents: SOPs, work instructions, log deviation reports, SAE messages, TMF-Pflege Conducting internal quality audits and continuous process optimization Data input and control in electronic data systems (EDC, eCTMS) Strategic cooperation Participation in the planning and application of new IITs and academic studies Support in building new study protocols and regulatory submissions

Forced required Complete vocational training in a nursing profession (health and nursing) or completed studies in the field of healthcare, life sciences or comparable Completed training for Study Nurse / CRA or comparable certification (e.g. ACRP CCRC, SoCRA CCRP) At least 5 years of professional experience as a Study Nurse or study coordinator:in clinical oncological research Knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines and German legislation (AMG, GCP-V) Proven experience in the coordination and/or guidance of study teams Experience with IITs and/or industrially sponsored clinical trials of phases I–III Very good German knowledge (C1) as well as good English knowledge in word and writing (studies, international communication) Safe handling of EDC systems (e.g. REDCap, Medidata Rave, OpenClinica) and MS Office Remarkable Experience with liquid biopsy protocols (blood sampling, sample preparation for CTC/cfDNA analyses) Knowledge of Molecular Tumor Boards (MTB) and NGS-based Diagnostics Experience in coordinating Phase I or First-in-Human studies Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs as well as experience with governmental administration (BfArM, EK) Enthusiasm for translational research at the interface of basic research and clinic
