The Clinic for Medical Genetics is part of the Center for Medical Genetics, which also includes the Institute for Reproductive Genetics. In our ambulance we treat patients from the entire spectrum of human genetics and carry out the corresponding analyses with the most modern technology. Clinical and scientific focuses are reproductive genetics, development disorders and tumor predisposition syndromes.

Clinic Learning Clinical Genetic Ambulance and Diagnostic Pipelines Integration of genomic findings into patient care in compliance with precision medicine standards Participation in multidisciplinary tumor boards and reproductive medical conferences

Research Head of your own translational research project on the molecular foundations at the interface of cancer and infertility (supported, high-impact publications expected) Participation in multicentric consortia, drafting of funding applications and managing research budgets Publication in first-class journals, presentations at international conferences

Conception and implementation of innovative teaching modules for medical students and assistant physicians Head of interdisciplinary case conferences and mentoring of junior staff Development and evaluation of training programmes

Completed medical studies and doctoral studies, PhD preferred Passion for human genetics and a clear track record of scientific interest (excellent promotion, conference presentations, first author publications) Strong leadership potential, experience in project management, team coordination or mentoring of advantage Standing for certified further education Impressed communication strength in fluent German and English as well as team skills Proactive, structured working with the ability to succeed in a dynamic and interdisciplinary environment
