Lead SAP Application Engineer (d/w/m)

As a Lead SAP Application Engineer (d/w/m), you take the technical responsibility for a future-oriented, clean-core-compliant SAP landscape at our headquarters in Hamburg – and puts modern technologies such as RAP, CAP and BTP into action.

You take over the technical leadership role in SAP development: define guidelines, coach developer (d/w/m) and ensure architecture and clean-core conformity. You build bridges between internal development, AMS and enterprise architecture – with a focus on sustainable solutions in S/4HANA. You actively develop yourself – especially in Proofs of Concepts, smaller projects and complex improvements. You are responsible for technical design and work closely with Solution Architects (d/w/m) and specialist areas. You control AMS providers at a technical level: perform code reviews, provide specifications and ensure the quality of implementation. You are driving forward the use of modern SAP technologies such as RAP, CAP, BTP and the Integration Suite. Complete study or training in the IT environment with well-founded experience in SAP development and architecture Very good knowledge of modern SAP technologies, especially RAP, CAP, BTP (Java/Spring Boot) and Integration Suite Safe in design and implementation of sustainable SAP solutions according to Clean-Core principles Experience in cooperation with near/offshore teams, implementation of code reviews and quality assurances High quality standards and understanding of architecture, structured and solution-oriented work Precise communication, coaching of developers (d/w/m) and technical savings partners (d/w/m) for architects (d/w/m) and specialist areas Very good English skills in word and writing
