The Customs & Export Control (FSZ) area is responsible for the proper handling of all external trade-related processes. This means that the area must enable modern and logistically efficient import/export processing by means of various regulatory approvals and simplifications. Assessment of export projects taking into account applicable legislation Classification of goods (goods, software and technology) using technical parameters and according to legal requirements (good lists) Auditing of counterparties against penalty lists Application/administration of export permits to the Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA) Monitoring and consulting of projects related to export control aspects Design and support of processes and process documentation to ensure compliance under export control Translation of technical requirements into the IT system landscape (especially SAP GTS) Initiation and implementation of training measures

Complete study of law with focus on external economic law / economic law / Dipl. Financial Controller (FH) Customs or comparable, alternative training in a relevant area Knowledge of German, EU and US export control law Practice-proven analytical capability and structured targeted approach At least 5 years of professional experience, preferably in foreign trade advice or in a comparable industrial function Good expertise in MS Office applications as well as user knowledge in SAP GTS and SAP ERP systems English language skills
