The Niedersächsische Landesbehörde für Strassenbau und Verkehr is responsible, among other things, for the construction and maintenance of federal and regional roads in Lower Saxony and for the circular roads of different counties. It employs around 2,900 employees. The various tasks are carried out on the one hand in four central business units and on the other in 13 regional business units (including road construction offices). Planning and design support/check for complex demand plan measures or other pre-conditional measures Advising the regional business areas on traffic forecasts, traffic models and traffic investigations Cooperation in strategic and conceptual planning for the needs plan of the federal highways Creating instructions for action and carrying out training for regional business areas including the latest scientific standards Participation in procedures according to ROG and opinions as TÖB in planning of third parties: coordination with the spatial planning authorities, TÖB contributions to landscape planning, consultation of the GB in matters of spatial planning Perceiving professional supervisory activities - performing partial audits

Your technical qualification: Officials (w/m/d) must have the capacity for the 2nd entry office of category 2, technical services. Employees (w/m/d) must have a completed academic degree (univ. Diplom/Master) in the field of civil engineering, architecture or industrial engineering with a focus on building. Alternatively, a completed academic degree (univ. Diplom/Master) of a relevant subject with a traffic-related focus, preferably the subject of economic engineering with a focus on traffic, is a prerequisite. Experience in spatial planning, line planning, road design, environmental planning, project management and participation procedures are desirable.
