Head of Project Funding (m/f/d)

Total responsibility for project funding including technical, strategic and disciplinary leadership of the team Close operational cooperation with the Management Board in the management, implementation and further development of the foundation activities and the preparation and follow-up of strategic and operational decisions Preparation of decision bases, board templates, resolutions and committee meetings at the highest level Strategic development and management of the funding portfolio as well as responsibility for the design, quality assurance and impact-oriented implementation of support and own projects Responsibility for budget planning, resource management, risk management and continuous monitoring of project and funding activities Representation of the Foundation towards funding partners, institutions, policy-makers, science, culture and civil society as well as active care and development of strategic networks Development of digital processes, controlling instruments and impact analyses in the field of project funding Regular participation in evening and network events as well as willingness to travel

Successfully completed academic studies (Master, Magister, Diploma (University) or comparable degree) in a relevant field Multiannual, detectable disciplinary leadership experience as well as experience in managing complex organisational and change processes, including personnel development, personnel discussions, target agreements, performance assessments and personnel decisions are essential. Multiannual professional experience in a responsible position within a foundation, a non-profit organisation, a public institution or a comparable complex environment experience in close cooperation with seniors or management bodies, in particular in the creation of decision-making templates, bodywork and stakeholder communication Excellent strategic, conceptual, organisational and analytical skills, as well as the ability to prepare complex issues in a way that is addressable Safe appearance, diplomatic skill and pronounced communication strength even in challenging situations High identification with non-profit tasks and a deep understanding of social, political and cultural relations self-sponsored, proactive and solution-oriented mode of operation with pronounced implementation strength and the ability to control several complex projects and decision-making processes in parallel; high discretion, loyalty and reliability readiness to perform representation tasks and to participate in events outside regular working hours Knowledge of regional structures and networks in the Ruhr area are advantageous
