Plant Manager Metal Processing in the Group (m/f/d)

For the profitable metalworking plant in Siegen we are looking for an experienced plant manager (m/w/d) for the management and further development of the site with approx. 300 employees. You drive Lean Management and Kaizen forward, reduce complexity in the processes and develop sustainable strategies to respond quickly and flexibly to current market changes. You actively seek exchanges with other works of the group and understand how to create and use synergies in an international matrix organization. Due to your experience in change management, you will take your team on the way to changes with value. In our search we are directed to candidate:inside with experience in the factory management in metal processing. Candidates are ideal:inside, You bring experience with automated production as well as manual production. Responsibility for the operational management, optimization and strategic further development of your work with approx. 300 employees with full P&L responsibility to ensure optimal productivity and utilisation of your location with regard to current market developments and changes analysis of the actual and target situation and resulting creation of decision bases for investment in the plant, e.g. for further automation establishment and further development of a lived operational excellence with the help of lean management, pits and GEMBA with the aim to reduce reject and throughput times Promoting closer cooperation with the other works of the Group for the use of synergies and best practice Establishing a team and communication culture as well as a lively exchange among one another, e.g. through regular employee meetings Successful engineering studies, e.g. in the field of mechanical engineering, economic engineering, production technology, etc. Influential experience in the management of a plant or production site in metal processing or automotive with full P&L responsibility experience in automated and manual production environments Detectable successes in productivity growth, in the further development of lean management processes and in the introduction of KPIs Dynamic thinking Design space and freedom of choice: You have the task of fundamentally developing your profitable location and investing future-oriented in machines and equipment Basic requirements are given: stable customer relationships and a team that wants to “withdraw” strong back: You have full back cover of the Group for the introduction of all changes in a constructive, highly professional environment of Namhaft employer with an internationally renowned reputation and a performance-oriented and equally team-oriented corporate culture
