Protection Engineer (m/f/d)

You design, develop and provide protection and recognition technologies for current and new attack techniques, such as Sigma, YARA, behavioral heuristics, AMSI, ETW or Windows Event Logs You develop tools and scripts that make our detection, analysis and response processes more efficient You support our analysts through understandable documentation and knowledge transfer by evaluating and describing suspicious activities, TTPs and security related artefacts You carry out attack simulations that help us continuously improve our protection mechanisms

You have experience in dealing with detection technologies or detection frameworks as well as dealing with protection mechanisms on Windows / Linux / macOS You have knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK Framework and can safely arrange and describe attack techniques You master one or more script or programming languages like Python, PowerShell, Ruby or Perl You bring experience from offensive security (pentesting, red teaming, adversary simulation) or you have a deep understanding of the attack page You work analytically and structured, stand for clear communication and enrich the team with new ideas You speak fluent German (mind. C1) and good English
