Business lawyer in product management (m/f/d)

Support the sub-project management in further development projects of our payment solutions or work on it, assists in contract negotiations and is the central interface between legal department, purchasing, information security/data protection and professional product management. You actively contribute regulatory, data protection and contractual requirements to the development process. Making payment solutions possible: You support the legal and contractual implementation of product ideas with all stakeholders in the product development process – from the first idea to market launch to ongoing operation. These also include the contractual arrangements with institutions and partner companies as well as cooperation with external firms, if necessary.

Take responsibility: You coordinate legal requirements throughout the entire product life cycle, identify legal risks and develop practical solutions. You keep an overview of existing contracts, check them regularly for topicality and ensure necessary adjustments in regulatory or legal changes. In addition, you are willing to take over lead functions in the project and control your team professionally.

Advising the target audience: You translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into understandable, practical recommendations for specialist areas, so that product benefits and user-friendliness are the focus. You can maintain the balance between freedom of innovation and legal certainty.

Build and share expertise: You continuously develop into an expert: in a highly specialized, forward-looking environment and are a sought-after advocate for digital payment topics within the Sparkassen financial group. You actively contribute your know-how to cross-disciplinary discussions, forums and team-internal exchange rounds.

Successfully completed studies in economic law or comparable business or procurement-oriented studies with a legal focus

Multiannual professional experience focusing on business law, IT contract law or comparable, for example, in the context of contract management, key account management or purchasing

In addition to knowledge of IT contract law and data protection competencies in relevant legal areas and guidelines in the banking environment (e.g. BGB, KWG, MaRisk, PSD-2, EBA RTS) or willingness to work quickly here

Multiannual experience in conducting subprojects or intensive project collaboration and ideally from product team(s) in the context of product and/or project management

Impressed ability to independently, analytically think, design and enforce facts in the team

German language skills, English skills
