Key Account Manager Rail Freight Transport (m/f/d)

Your area of responsibility: As a key account manager (m/w/d), you assume responsibility for sales for defined key customers from the steel industry and act as a central interface between our customers and the various railway companies (EVU) of the group. Your tasks include: Construction, maintenance and development of long-term customer relationships Ensuring stock business and developing new business potentials Responsibility for achieving short and long-term sales targets Control and coordination of the entire distribution process independent processing of customer projects - from conception to costing to offer strategy Leadership of price and contract negotiations Recording and transfer of customer requirements into the company as an impulse provider for product development and process optimization

What brings you forward with us: Successfully completed studies, ideally with a focus on transport, logistics or comparable alternatively a commercial training with a multi-year professional experience in the industry Multiannual professional experience in distribution or rail freight transport Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing (at least level C1) Embossed customer orientation and joy in dealing with people Negotiating skills and convincing communication skills Self-employed, structured and targeted High level of initiative, curiosity and enforcement Very good knowledge of MS Office
