Head of Network Operations Support (N-4)

You take over the strategic and operational management of the Network Operation Support team and develop, develop and motivate an interdisciplinary team of technology, operation and maintenance. You participate in the development and optimization of maintenance strategies and derive maintenance concepts including state assessments and prioritization. You drive the digitalization and optimization of the operating processes and introduce and develop digital systems for documentation and quality enhancement. You will ensure safe, efficient and permit-compliant work both in terms of planned measures and in case of disturbances in the district heating system. You develop self-responsive concepts to ensure security of supply. You work closely with internal departments as well as external stakeholders and authorities to ensure operational activities and prepare strategic decisions. You are responsible for the planning of measures (staffing, repair and maintenance measures) as well as for the performance in accordance with the contract, including cost, appointment and quality control, and prepare the budget planning and analysis in terms of content. You will be launching comments on new building, hydraulic and refurbishment projects focusing on long-term operation and the measuring system. You process customer requests to secure the line inventory. You implement all work, health, fire and environmental regulations and control their compliance.

You have a completed university or university degree course (e.g. in economic or engineering, mechanical engineering, energy, process or utility) or have a comparable qualification. You bring experience as a leadership, ideally in energy management and maintenance – preferably in the area of district heating and distribution. You are sure to deal with legal, technical and regulatory frameworks of energy supply and have knowledge of VOB. You are convinced by strong leadership, communication strength and team orientation, coupled with a high self-initiative and an analytical and structured thinking capability. You master the current MS Office applications, have knowledge of SAP-PM and are ready to work quickly into new systems. You are willing to participate in the cross-network standby service to ensure continuous heat supply and have the licence of Class B. You have fluent German knowledge in word and writing as well as basic knowledge in English.
