You contribute significantly to the success of innovative multi-terminal HVDC projects and jointly develop the foundations for system design in the team. As a contact person and central knowledge provider (w/m/d), all process participants advise on the behaviour of HGÜ systems and individual subsystems such as converter stations. You investigate and evaluate the static and transient behavior of multi-terminal HVDC systems to develop technical requirements for subsystems. In addition, you will develop technical guidelines, promote increasing standardization in the field and support the development and optimization of project processes. In your role, you represent the interests of TransnetBW to external process participants (e.g. national or international bodies) as well as project partners.
You have a university degree (Diplom/Master) in electrical engineering, energy technology, high voltage technology or a comparable degree of study. To do this, you can bring at least three years of professional practice in a relevant area or a corresponding doctorate and have already gained project experience. You have well-founded knowledge in the fields of high-voltage technology, ideally in the field of static and transient behavior of HGÜ systems or MMC converters, ideally complemented with experience in modeling/simulation of HGÜ systems or MMC converters (e.g. PSCAD, PowerFactory, Phyton, Simulink etc.). You are a pragmatic, solution-oriented personality, perform convincingly, also present complex content sovereignly and master the German and English language very well.
