About us The 13-member team of the SMT Quality Management System (SMT-QS) is very committed and is driving forward developments in the three topics management system, methods and data and key figures management. Our mission is to continuously improve product, process and organization quality and to establish a first-class process, method and metric know-how SMT-wide. The five data managers in the team are responsible for the collection, provision and analysis of quality data to assess process quality and to derive targeted improvements. In addition, You act as quality representatives in the Business Process Transformation Program, especially when introducing S4/Hana and a PLM system.

Your role

Design and continuous development of digital quality processes within modern IT system landscapes

Definition and representation of quality requirements in digital transformation projects

active participation in the migration of the Q processes from SAP R/3 to S/4HANA and the introduction of accompanying systems (e.g. PLM)

systematic identification and implementation of optimization potentials in ERP, PLM and MES applications

Acquisition of Q-key user role with focus on automation and quality assurance in IT processes

close cooperation with departments and IT to ensure quality-relevant standards and system integration

Recording, evaluating and implementing user requirements in the context of IT system development

Planning and implementation of training as well as consulting users in the use of quality-relevant systems

completed studies in Business Informatics, Engineering, Quality Management or a comparable subject area

multiannual (3 – 5 years) experience in managing digitalization, quality or IT system projects (e.g. SAP S/4HANA, PLM), ideally with knowledge of Agile, IPMA or PRINCE2

well-founded knowledge in SAP R/3 or SAP S/4HANA (especially in the QM module) as well as experience with PLM and ideally MES systems

very good understanding of quality management processes, data quality, validation and testing mechanisms and their technical implementation in the system environment

Ability to meet complex requirements, structure and translate them into practical, solution-oriented concepts

Communication strength, binding appearance and sovereign interaction at all levels – to effectively connect with competence, disciplines, IT and management

independent, structured and result-oriented work, complemented by hands-on mentality, eagerness of change and implementation

Very good knowledge of German and English complete your profile and enable open and smooth cooperation at all levels
