The maintenance and maintenance team (Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team or RME team) is of fundamental importance for our operation – ensuring that our technical systems and systems work continuously. As a maintenance engineer, you are responsible for the maintenance and maintenance of our technical equipment and production facilities. You help to ensure the highest safety standards in occupational safety and prevent machine downtime. You carry out a number of planned preventive maintenance measures on devices to ensure their safe operation. In addition, as a maintenance engineer, you are looking for troubles and failures. You investigate the causes, find solutions as soon as possible and apply them. You also make suggestions for long-term improvements. In cooperation with senior colleagues, you perform daily maintenance tasks and communicate with service providers if you need external expertise. You work in rotating layers so that we can support our locations around the clock and ensure that Amazon can continue to deliver at the pace we are known for. Our maintenance and maintenance team (Reliability Maintenance Engineering Team or RME team) ensures that our devices and equipment work optimally at any time. We are a team of technicians:inside and engineer:inside, which consists of excellent team players and is led by experienced managers. We work together to maintain, repair and troubleshoot the devices in our entire global network of filling centers. Some of our employees are executives who supervise the team at work on exciting, innovative technology – which is partly only available at Amazon. From the installation of automated packaging systems to the supervision of the general maintenance work of a site, as well as the repair of equipment essential to the distribution, our team is developing a large number of technical tasks at Amazon. Among other things, it also ensures that buildings continue to comply with the legal requirements, so that everyone stays safe and our locations are operated with maximum efficiency. There are numerous opportunities to climb in the RME team as well as in the entire Amazon company. All our activities are designed to reduce the downtime at Amazon's most important operating locations so that customers receive their orders in time. We often work early in the morning, late in the evening or in the night shift to carry out maintenance work with the lowest possible disturbances. If we find a better way to do a specific task, we have the skills and opportunities to introduce completely new processes or groundbreaking technology such as Amazon Robotics or our Complex Item Varietor.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Successfully completed at least three years of vocational training with IHK degree as: Electronics,Mechatroniker/in, Automation technician
• Multiannual professional experience in industrial maintenance
• Funded knowledge in the maintenance and repair of automated systems/feeding technology
• Team skills and independent working
• readiness for shiftwork PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience with state-oriented monitoring
• Experience in working with printing and application machines
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of conveyor or automation systems
