You develop the technical conception of our supply systems and ensure a safe and efficient operation at any time in compliance with all legal, technical and regulatory requirements. You initiate, tax and manage water management measures to ensure the quality of raw and drinking water and work closely with external partners, authorities and cooperations (e.g. agriculture). In addition, you evaluate risks for water quality, develop suitable prevention and control instruments, answer professionally and organizationally the shift and readiness system, including the release of call readiness plans and management of the standby circle, and take over the role of the technical leader in the event of malfunctions and emergencies, as well as the technical advice and participation in the crisis unit in exceptional events with high supply relevance. You also participate in the development of the strategic objectives of the Department for Sustainable and Economic Water Supply, are responsible for their communication and implementation in your own field and represent the technical, technical and strategic interests of the Department sovereignly towards internal bodies, external partners, authorities and other stakeholders. You guide the department with professional and disciplinary leadership responsibility, ensure a powerful organization of the structure and process as well as an effective transfer of information, specifically promotes self-responsibility, decision-making competence and professional development of the employees and at the same time take over the function of the technical manager of a subsidiary.

A completed study (Master/Diplom) of the water industry or a comparable degree course form the theoretical basis and your long-term professional experience in the technical management of complex infrastructure systems, ideally in water supply, complete your profile. Finding knowledge of the relevant legal, technical and regulatory regulations as well as the analysis and quality assurance can be combined with multi-year experience in managing larger organizational units with disciplinary personnel responsibility Very good water-economic, physical, chemical, hygienic and process knowledge along the entire value chain is combined with business knowledge, especially in asset management.
