We are looking for a qualified underwriter (m/w/d) - in full time - with the focus on liability at the earliest possible time for our group Customer Care SHU within our specialist department Sach/HUK-betrieb.

Own-sponsored processing and testing of complex insurance requests in the areas of liability and accident insurance, with a focus on customers from the large-scale commercial environment and near-track companies. You analyse risks, start insurance offers and take independent drawing decisions. You coordinate reinsurance requests and check reinsurance protection within the framework of the drawing policy. You can actively contribute your know-how to the development and maintenance of tariffs and conditional works (wordings). You accompany projects for the further development of the liability business from tariffs to digital process optimization. You act as a specialist contact person for sales and selected brokerage houses.

You have a completed vocational training as a merchant (m/w/d) for insurance and financial investment Account Manager (m/w/d) You have a further education on liability underwriter (DVA). You can demonstrate a multi-year professional experience in underwriting industrial liability risks. You have deeper knowledge of tariffs, risk assessment and contract design. Ideally, you have experience with technical or railway-related risks (such as driving vehicle construction, infrastructure, service providers in the railway sector). You are safe in handling MS Office, especially Excel and Word. You have an analytical and solution-oriented thinking as well as pleasure in professional responsibility. Experience in D&O products is advantageous. You bring the willingness to travel. Communication strength and team spirit complete your profile.
