Management of production planning (m/f/d)

Cavendish & Harvey Confectionery GmbH is a producer and supplier of high quality confectionery ‘Made in Germany’. At the headquarters in the north of Hamburg we employ about 200 people candy in golden cans with powder sugar, especially for the premium brand “Cavendish & Harvey”, which is successfully distributed in more than 100 countries.

Interface function: You act as a central link between sales, marketing, purchasing, production and logistics to optimally coordinate demand and production planning

Demand planning: creation and further development of sales forecasts including market data, sales plans, promotions and seasonal effects

production planning: deriving production plans based on demand forecasts, inventory targets and capacities,

Creation, control and monitoring of production plans for our confectionery production

Delivering needs from SAP and creating detailed production plans in Excel

S&OP Process: Preparation and Moderation of the Monthly Sales-&Operation Planning Process incl. Data analysis, forecast review and decision-making

Data Analysis & Reporting: Monitoring and Improvement of Forecast Accuracy and Creation of relevant KPI reports

Process optimization: further development of planning logic, data flows and collaboration across department boundaries with the aim of integrated planning in SAP (PP module)

Technical and organisational management of a small planning team and further development of employees

Complete training or studies in food technology, business management, supply chain management, production planning, industrial engineering or comparable

Multiannual professional experience in production, sales or demand planning – ideally in the production environment (e.g. FMCG, food, consumer goods, chemistry)

First leadership experience or proven responsibility for the guidance of a team

Very good knowledge in Excel and well-founded experience in the SAP environment (SAP PP, ideally SAP APO, IBP or other demand planning tools)

Knowledge in the S&OP process

Analytical and conceptual strength combined with communication capability and enforcement capability

Team-oriented personality with structured, proactive functioning and joy in collaboration across departments

Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
