Your new job

• Rice and setup: You mount punching, bending or composite tools on the eccentric press, adjust the exact installation height (stuff adjustment) and adjust the tape feed system (feed).
• Process optimization: You select the appropriate stroke number and the optimal dead center of the press to protect the tools and at the same time achieve a maximum delivery rate in series production.
• Process monitoring and tool protection: You program electronic tool protection controls and monitor the force course of the eccentric shaft to avoid tool breakage or machine overloads.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting: You regularly control the brake coupling combination as well as the central lubrication of the press and correct mechanical disturbances directly on site.

Your profile

• Complete vocational training: You have a successful 3.5-year training (e.g. as a punching and forming machine or industrial mechanic) with a focus on sheet metal processing.
• Special knowledge in forming technology: You understand the kinematics of eccentric drives and have a profound knowledge of the material properties of metal strips (coils) and their behavior during punching.
• Care and security awareness: Since eccentric presses release enormous forces, an extremely conscientious mode of operation is vital when setting the safety devices (e.g. light barriers, dual-hand circuit).
• Technical hearing and precision: You have a feel for the machine, recognize irregularities at the noise level and work with measuring devices precisely according to technical drawings.
