Your main tasks:

› With the promotion, the jobholders will support the research of the department at the interface of the areas of professionalization and social inequality. The doctoral project is to be found in the field of quantitative social and professionalisation research and deals with aspects of socially unequally distributed career and development opportunities within the framework of scientific qualification in social work; Gender must be taken into account as a central inequality dimension.

The tasks include the design, implementation and evaluation of individual quantitative data collections as well as publication and presentation of the research results at technical meetings.

› An active participation in the exchange within the group of doctoral students at the Social Work doctorate center is expected.

› The place includes teaching within 2-4 semester week hours.

Your profile:

› A master's degree in social work with very good result

• Knowledge of theories and concepts of professionalisation in social work and approaches to inequality research
• Outstanding experience in the field of social work in the field of higher education and research, especially in the coordination and support of research and transfer projects, preferably in the field of gender and equality

› Very good knowledge of quantitative methods, including knowledge of the planning and implementation of standardized surveys

› Very good statistical and corresponding software knowledge (preferably in R)

Ability to independent scientific work, commitment, team and communication skills.

Teaching experiences in empirical/quantitative methods and/or social inequality as well as knowledge of university self-government
