Occupational Safety Specialist (m/f/d)

As an experienced specialist in occupational safety, you play a central role in the health and safety of our company. In this position, you act responsibly according to §6 ASiG and actively contribute to fulfilling the requirements of ISO 45001 and continuously improving the relevant processes. You advise the management and all business areas in matters of occupational, health and accident protection and develop concrete proposals for implementation and compliance. You coordinate the implementation of risk assessments, safety instructions and the creation of operational instructions. You organize effective operations and audits at our locations. You investigate the causes of work accidents and initiate prevention measures and follow them. You lead a legal catastrophe and analyse new/changed binding commitments on relevance and implement measures. You work closely with authorities, service providers, professional associations, business physicians, the works council and external auditors. You create relevant key figures and statistics and report regularly on the results. You monitor and improve risk management and support the organisation of fire protection, radiation protection, evacuation measures and first aid training.

You have a successfully completed degree in engineering (e.g. safety, mechanical engineering, process or environmental engineering). You have completed the training as a specialist for occupational safety in accordance with § 7 ASiG and have several years of professional experience in practising. Qualification as an internal auditor in accordance with DIN EN ISO 45001 as well as additional qualifications related to health and safety (e.g. fire protection, radiation protection officer, safety and health coordinator) are advantageous. You are characterised by an independent, structured, practical and solution-oriented working and consulting competence. A high degree of communication strength, enforcing ability and sense of responsibility complete your profile. You communicate fluently in German and English in word and writing and bring the necessary readiness to travel.
