Head of Market Succession Corporate Clients Real Estate Centre (m/f/d)

You lead and develop your team, strengthen individual talents and create a working environment characterized by trust, motivation and performance. Together with the Head of Division of the corresponding market unit, you are responsible for a larger credit portfolio in the new and existing business with the focus on credit risk and transaction management. You work closely with the market unit as well as relevant internal and external stakeholders such as reviewers and lawyers and support complex customer negotiations – with the aim of preserving bank interests and building long-term partnerships. You meet and make credit decisions in the context of your or your competence in the new and existing business and make sure that these are strategically meaningful and risk-appropriate. You implement the internal credit processes and requirements in your market succession unit effectively and efficiently and promote successful cooperation with the corresponding market unit. With a strategic perspective, you will explore market and risk developments and will take effective measures to ensure sustainable credit risk management in your area of responsibility at an early stage. The development of the loan portfolio is a regular exchange with the Head of Market and Chief Risk Officer. You are actively involved in cross-bank and sector topics and projects.

Knowledge of bank, business and economic and property-specific topics Proven competence in analysis and structuring as well as in transaction management, coupled with many years of experience in commercial real estate financing – including large-volume, complex financing and problem-affected engagements Comprehensive knowledge of the German real estate market and a relevant network A safe feeling for your interlocutor and experience in negotiating complex financing structures Leadership, paired with empathy and the ability to motivate and develop a team Very good language skills in German and English, happy to add another European foreign language
