In this position, you play a central role in the further development of our ballistic and protective research business. In doing so, you combine technical know-how, customer orientation and entrepreneurship with the aim of creating sustainable growth and expanding the market position of our area in the long term.

Activity

• take over the technical responsibility for the field of fire tests, protection tests and evaluations
• Professional leadership and coordination of project staff:internal and interdisciplinary teams
• Ensuring successful planning, implementation and evaluation of fire and protection tests according to national and international standards
• Strategic development of the performance portfolio in test services of protection technologies in close coordination with management
• Cooperation with leading national and international companies in the protection and vehicle technology and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Positioning the company as a competent development and testing partner in the national and international market environment, identification of future market and technology trends and derivation of new services and business areas
• Company representation at special events, symposia, congresses and trade fairs
• Participation in the acquisition of follow-up projects and the creation of offers

Preconditions

• Complete technical studies in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, aerospace technology or comparable
• Multiannual professional experience in a technical environment, ideally in the field of protection systems, vehicle technology, Wehrtechnik, materials technology or experimental
• Experience in communication with customers: both at different levels
• Practical experience in the technical management of project teams as well as a strong motivation to actively take responsibility
• Experience in offering, project processing or business development of advantage
• willingness to attend occasional business trips and to participate in specialist events
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing

In this key position, you take on the technical and strategic responsibility for the field of fire tests and protective tests.
