We are looking for a senior MDM lead that drives the transformation of our data landscape from a complex environment to a modern, lean and business-driven setup. This is a role with end-to-end management for Master Data Management across systems such as Salesforce, ERP, PIM and Frontend platforms. The focus is on establishing clear data responsibilities, governance structures and scalable processes as the basis for digital growth and the use of AI. MDM Strategy & Transformation Definition and implementation of the MDM transformation roadmap, with the transition from a complex carve-out environment to a lean, private equity-impacted operating model Establishment of a scalable and pragmatic MDM framework aligned with the business priorities Definition of data domains (Customer, Product, Material, Vendor, Pricing, Installed Base) and corresponding responsibility models Support of the reporting provision for the defined data domains Data Governance, Quality & Lifecycle Implementation of an end-to-end data governance — roles, responsibilities, workflows and “Single Source of Truth” per data object across CRM, ERP and PIM Definition and traceability of data quality KPIs and creation of workflows for creation, validation, enrichment and care Elimination of Shadow Processes (especially Excel-based Logic) Integration of regulatory requirements (GDPR, export controls, sanctions for supplier master files) in governance and tools System & Architecture Integration Close cooperation with the E2E‐IT architect to define the role of MDM in target architecture Integration of MDM processes into core systems (especially Salesforce, ERP, PIM) Evaluation and implementation of MDM tools (e.g. Stibo STEP, Informatica or comparable solutions) Data Quality & Lifecycle Management Definition and monitoring of data quality KPIs Implementation of workflows for data creation, validation, enrichment and care Removal of shadow processes (especially Excel-based logic) Stakeholder Management and Business Enablement Coordination with stakeholders from sales, marketing, service and operations – Ensuring that data structures and well-maintained data optimally support CRM, portal, BI and AI applications Control of external MDM and data governance partners in close coordination with central IT and transformation initiatives
Training: successfully completed (Bachelor/Master) degree in Business Informatics, Data Management, Computer Science or a comparable qualification. Experiences and know-how: Long-standing experience with Salesforce Service Cloud in a large-scale enterprise environment. Expert level in the configuration of Service Cloud (Flows, Case Management, Entitlements, Omni-Channel, Knowledge Database); deep understanding of Service Cloud APIs and proven experience in building integrations. Process knowledge: Funded, practical understanding of Contact-to-Closure (C2C) processes and of KPIs and best practices in the service industry. Nice-to-have: Experience with Field Service Lightning. Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant required; Advanced Administrator and Platform Developer I of advantage. Personality and working methods: analytical, structured and solution-oriented working methods; proven ability to translate complex technical requirements into elegant and effective technical solutions; pronounced communication and stakeholder management capabilities. Languages: English language skills (in word and writing) are required; German skills at work level are desirable.
