With locations in the south and north of Cologne, we focus on the (petro)chemical and pharmaceutical environment.

Cologne Own-sponsored implementation of strategic and operational procurement for chemical and refinery projects procurement of technically complex components, services and structures (e.g. EMSR, pipeline construction, steel construction, construction services) Creation of procurement strategies in coordination with the customer Creation and coordination of tender documents, performance directories and specifications Collection, evaluation and comparison of offers and implementation of price and contract negotiations Contract design in cooperation with the legal department, the customer and the project team Monitoring of delivery dates, quality and costs, as well as active claim and return management Close coordination with the interfaces (project management, engineering, construction management, controlling)

you have completed your studies in the field of economic engineering, business management, engineering or a comparable degree you could gain several years of professional experience in the field of project purchase, ideally in plant construction of the chemical or petrochemical industry you provide profound knowledge in national and international contract law (e.g. VOB, BGB, FIDIC) you have knowledge of German and English in a reliable manner as well as a secure handling of MS Office and ERP systems (e.g. SAP) quality is more important to you than quantity you prefer to solve problems you like to take responsibility and be reliable
