Tool-based recording, maintenance and analysis of commercial data (costs, suppliers, maintenance and support contracts) Monitoring of contract terms, deadlines and extension options and ensuring contractual performance Creating and providing compliance reports, cost analysis and action recommendations Support for procurement procedures and implementation of procurement in coordination with purchasing, procurement and specialist departments Analysis and Optimization of Software and Asset Management, taking into account cost, contract and license aspects Negotiating procurement options and licensing models with manufacturers and suppliers Advising the departments, business and development teams as well as customers on commercial and open source software including license and cost-relevant issues Ensuring compliance, internal and external audit support, and interface management to adjacent functions

Complete study of economic informatics or a comparable qualification, for example through a relevant vocational training with corresponding professional experience Found professional experience in software license management, software asset management (SAM) or contract management in the IT environment Deep knowledge of the licensing of commercial software and its economic and contractual framework Ideally knowledge of licensing and use of open source software Extensive interest in complex IT systems, software architectures and technological contexts, as well as the willingness to continuously integrate into new technologies and licensing models Analytical and Structured Operation and the ability to derive sound recommendations from data and information Ability to provide complex licensing and cost-relevant issues in a address-oriented manner and to provide expert advice to different stakeholders Self-responsive, independent and solution-oriented mode of operation combined with a pronounced sense of cost and economy Ideally knowledge of licensing and use of open source software Excellent knowledge of German (C2) and knowledge of English (at least C1) in word and writing, in particular for the examination, processing and negotiation of contracts with manufacturers and suppliers
