As a physically enthusiastic development worker, you can use your talent to move the boundaries of the physically feasible one piece further. In the team of actuators and sensor systems, we investigate the physical and technical issues in the positioning and position measurement of high-precision optics in our systems. Our task is to develop new products and to ensure the optical performance of the systems by modeling and simulation. They contribute to the development of high-end EUV lithography systems and thereby provide the technological basis for future microchip generations

in the project team you work on strategies to ensure accurate positioning of all optical components to each other

They develop numerical models that describe the sensors in the overall system, as well as the influences of sensor properties on system performance

for use in products, create extensive simulation programs and develop them further

You can present a convincingly completed university degree in physics, computer science, mathematics or a similar subject and have this ideally deepened in a doctorate or have corresponding professional experience

Your very good simulation and programming skills, ideally in Python, you could already apply in larger projects

They have comprehensive knowledge of algorithm development, in particular in the field of optimization

They ideally have knowledge of physical/technical optics as well as the motivation to continuously expand them.

You communicate safely in German and English
