Doctor or doctor (w/m/d) as a specialist for the social psychiatric service

The Social Psychiatric Service, which is part of the Health Care Service, provides outpatient services for people with mental illnesses, their relatives and other people from the environment of those affected. The consultations are free. As a specialist department of the Social Psychiatric Service, you run this dedicated team.

Full time 39,00 hours/W. - Compensation up to the EC 15 TVöD - unlimited - from 01.09.2026

Your tasks

• They lead the social psychiatric service of the district of Lüneburg,
• your duties include cooperation in the social-psychiatric association of the Lüneburg County, the creation of psychiatric opinions on integration aid measures according to the SGB IX for mentally handicapped or addicted people, and cooperation with the public and free institutions of psychiatric and psychosocial assistance,
• They shall cooperate medically in examining the need for protective measures under the NPsychKG and carry out tasks under the NPsychKG; and
• They provide medical opinions, including psychological and psychotherapeutic issues, according to SGB II, SGB IX, SGB XII, and the Asylum BLG, and the ability to travel according to AsylG.

Your profile

• You have a German medical approval as well as a completed psychiatric or child- and youth-psychiatric further education and master the German language according to Level C1 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages),
• They are owned by the class B driving licence,
• Your leadership skills and ability to motivate your employees are just as important as your responsible and independent work,
• also in dealing with challenging customers, you will be able to make professionally correct decisions by your friendly but specific appearance and your conflictability,
• desirable way you already have professional experience in a social-psychiatric service, the application of the NPsychKG or in dealing with mentally disabled and addicted people.
