Rail Management Consultants International GmbH has been a national and international company in the field of rail traffic management as well as software development and distribution for over 27 years. Our innovative IT solutions for a digital and climate-friendly future of the rail are now in use with our RailSys® Software Suite worldwide for railway companies in over 35 countries. To support our team we are looking for you IT-Administrator (m/w/d) at the Hanover site.

Responsibility and know-how: With us you can actively contribute, pitch and implement your own ideas. You take responsibility for this and actively shape the further process. With your know-how, you and the company advance. Wide range of tasks: You develop measures and concepts for efficient and stable operation as well as the optimization and further development of our IT systems. As a 1st and 2nd level support, you solve problems in direct contact with internal and external users. You create and update configuration and operating documentation and are responsible for planning, commissioning, operation and monitoring of the IT infrastructure in the home and with customers. Cross-disciplinary cooperation: Together with the software developers and consulters inhouse, you work hand in hand and assist us in the technical implementation in various projects. Together to the goal: As a team member, you are actively working in challenging national and international projects, and you are starting concepts and accompanying the implementation.

Conclusion You have a training as a specialist informatics for system integration, IT system electronics or a comparable technical training or a completed study of the field of computer science/mathematics or business informatics. Areas of interest You are interested in innovative information technology and transport and mobility with a focus on rail transport. You will also enjoy the digital and climate-friendly future of the rail. Knowledge You have first knowledge or experience in planning, placing and maintenance of IT networks, IT hardware, operating systems and databases. You have experience in the independent administration of complex Windows system environments (Windows Server from 2008, Exchange, Active Directory) and virtualization tools such as VMware ESX, Citrix, vSphere and RDWeb. The handling of MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) is a child's game for you. Strengths You have an analytical mindset and enjoy solving complex logical problems. You can easily communicate with your very good language skills in German as well as English or another foreign language – in word and writing. You are a team player and celebrate success together!
