una-cum has enriched the youth aid landscape since 2011 as a social educational institution in Aachen/Herzogenrath–Kohlscheid. We accompany parents and children in mother/father-child settings: from intensive 24-hour coverage to accompanying self-employment. Our work combines binding orientation, clear structure quality and daily support. Methods like Marte Meo enter into practice; Internal in-house therapy offers stabilize everyday life and prepare for external cash-funded therapies. We cooperate closely with youth offices and regional partners. What we stand for: reliable child protection, strong parent-child relationships, transparent documentation – supported by a facing, multi-professional team.

Presence & Security: House rounds, rest periods, emergency and crisis management according to standard. Granting & deescalation: calming, structuring, accompanying in binding-oriented attitude (e.g. in case of rest, still/sleeping situations). Child protection in mind: observing, assessing risks, support. Documentation & handover: short reports, special events, to-dos for the day; clear handover to the day team. Structure quality in everyday life: order, cleanliness in the common area and small organizational activities after checklist. Important: It is about pedagogical presence and relationship work – no medical care.

Completed educational training (e.g. teacher:in, nurse:in, social education:in/social work B.A.) or comparable qualification/experience, midwives, nurses:in posture & tools: binding orientation, calm and clarity at night; Deescalation competence and joy in structured work. Child protection basics: SGB VIII basics, understand and apply protection concept; secure, comprehensible documentation. Ready to learn: Open for Marte Meo, First Aid on Cinema, Self Reflection/Supervision. Language & Cooperation: Deutsch mind. B2; can apply simple/light language; value-adding team collaboration. After hire, we need an extended management certificate according to § 30a BZRG.
