Senior Customs Specialist Zoll & Exportkontrolle (m/f/d)

You are responsible for the professionally correct and audit-proof handling of import, export and customs processes You maintain and manage customs authorisations and special customs procedures You advise specialist areas in customs and export control issues and carry out training You ensure compliance with export control requirements, including goods classification and sanctions list checks You request and manage export permits and document export control-relevant decisions You develop the internal control system for customs, foreign and export control You carry out customs duties, examinations of origin and preferences and calculations of origin You accompany audits, audits and compliance measures and manage regulatory requirements in practice You support customs and external economic systems and contribute to digitalization and transformation projects You work closely with authorities, service providers and international trade compliance teams You shall take over the role of the customs officer

You have completed your studies or a commercial training with additional qualification in customs or foreign trade law You bring several years of experience in customs and foreign affairs, ideally in the industrial environment You have a well-founded knowledge of the Union Customs Code (UZK), foreign trade law (AWG/AWV) and preferential and originating law You are safe in handling customs software, ERP systems and preferably SAP and AEB You bring experience in compliance structures, system implementations or transformation projects You communicate in English and German You are characterized by analytical thinking, a structured working method and high self-responsibility You convince by communication strength, enforcement ability and the ability to understand complex issues
