Grid connection and commissioning specialist (m/f/d)

We are the metecontrol Energy GmbH – a newly established company for innovative energy storage solutions and part of a successful medium-sized company in the renewable energy industry. Our business model: We provide industrial customers with modern battery storage systems free of charge – including planning, installation, operation and maintenance – and supply the stored electricity at attractive conditions. We use the electricity from our customers' own PV systems as well as cheaply purchased energy from the electricity exchange. In order to implement our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced technical leader who actively contributes to building our company.

meteocontrol energy GmbH is a young company of the meteocontrol Group and develops intelligent energy and battery storage solutions for industry. We build a virtual power plant and offer a lot of design space as a company, quick decisions and the opportunity to take responsibility and actively shape the energy transition. That's what you expect:

You connect our battery storage – from preparation to coordination with the network operator. You put the equipment into operation: parameterizing, testing, measuring, everything so that the technology runs clean. You record counters and measurements and make sure everything is documented correctly. You support our local partners – explain technology, show processes and help with questions.

Electrotechnical qualification, e.g. master, technician or comparable (TRAI/TREI of advantage), as well as practical experience with PV, storage or hybrid systems Basic knowledge of network and protection technology (e.g. VDE-AR-N 4105/4110, TAB) and ideally experience with measurements, protection tests and network connections Technical understanding of energy and control systems as well as common communication interfaces such as EMS, Modbus or MQTT Structured, solution-oriented operation and secure communication with network operators, customers and installation partners Good knowledge of German and English for technical documentation and professional exchange We welcome applications from people with disabilities and actively promote equal opportunities and diversity.
