Head of Product Management (m/f/d)

To strengthen our team we are looking for indefinite employment:

You take over the technical and disciplinary leadership of our product management team and continuously develop the team and the cooperation within the department. You keep an overview of ongoing projects and product activities, set clear priorities and ensure a targeted deployment of employees. You are responsible for the strategic development of our product portfolio and conducts appropriate product strategies from market and competitive analyses, customer requirements and technological and clinical developments. You control new product developments and developments over the entire product life cycle – from the first idea and requirement definition to market launch and ongoing support. You are the central interface between product management, development, sales, marketing, regulatory affairs and quality management. You ensure that customer and market requirements are recorded, evaluated, prioritized and introduced into product development in a structured manner. You develop training and information concepts and support training for employees, customers and international sales partners. You represent SOMNOmedics at national and international trade fairs, congresses, customers and reference centres. You regularly report to the Management Board and provide a sound basis for product-related decisions through meaningful evaluations and clear recommendations.

You have successfully completed a study with technical, scientific, biological or medical background. You have several years of professional experience in product management or in a comparable function in medical technology. You bring leadership experience and understand how to guide employees clearly, value-adding and goal-oriented. You have a good understanding of medical and clinical relationships; Knowledge of sleep medicine or biosignal analysis is advantageous. You have experience in developing and implementing product strategies as well as managing interdisciplinary development projects. Regulatory requirements for medical devices and cooperation with quality management and regulatory affairs are familiar to you. You think strategic, work structured and keep track of multiple parallel projects. You are convinced by communication strength, decision-making and a secure occurrence towards different internal and external contacts. You have very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing. The occasional participation in national and international missions is of course for you.
