Commercial Employee Control Center / Customs Clearance Specialist (m/f/d)

As a commercial:r employee:in the control and customs specialist you are responsible for the entire customs clearance: You independently process import, export and warehouse orders and coordinate them internally and with the competent customs authorities. You will carefully process customs topics – always in compliance with the current customs legislation as well as the country-specific and customer-specific requirements. In the customer service you have the direct wire to our domestic and foreign customers who are dedicated and service oriented. In addition, you will check receipts of non-Community goods and process shipments of goods, take over their tracking and processing of complaints. You have an attentive look at our processes and proactively bring your ideas into continuous improvement of logistical and administrative processes.

You have a degree as a merchant:woman for forwarding and logistics services, specialist:in for freight transport and logistics or business economist:in transport / logistics or a comparable commercial qualification. You have collected your at least three-year professional practice in customs processing or alternatively you will bring a training in customs law that is appropriate to the extent of customs activities. In addition: You are well known in the field of customs and foreign trade (NCTS, customs warehouses, free circulation and export). You can use certified customs management systems such as ATLAS, Advantage Customs etc for processing and document creation. Working with MS Office is part of everyday life for you. SAP knowledge in the supply chain management modules (e.g. SD, MM etc.) should be present. We work mainly with the WMS system, so previous knowledge is of advantage, but not decisive. You deal proactively and responsibly with irregularities and customs problems and are aware of risks. Communication is your strength – both in German and English. Customer orientation is not only a keyword for you, but inner attitude and lived reality. You convince with team spirit, organisational strength and the ability to adapt flexibly to new challenges.
