Project Manager for Municipal Building Projects (m/f/d)

GVE Immobilienverwaltung Stadt Essen GmbH is integrated into the public administration network and provides services in the construction and real estate sector with approximately 110 commercial, technical and commercial employees, as part of the city group Essen. The core business of this holding company includes the management, operation and management of special urban property. The tasks of the GVE range from all areas of facility management, to the execution of events, to project management and to the realization of construction measures such as renovation, reconstruction or new construction – from the first idea to the turnkey handover.

Immobilien Management Essen GmbH (IME) includes the Allbau group with ImmobilienService Essen GmbH as well as the GVE Land Management Stadt Essen GmbH. In the project management/project management department, the following position is to be filled in full time:

We plan and implement new buildings, extensions, refurbishments of schools, sports halls, daycare centers, administrative buildings and cultural real estate. From vision to reality: you accompany construction projects from the requirement definition, planning, commissioning and handover to users Project management with responsibility: You control construction projects in the areas of new building, rebuilding, refurbishment and special measures – including contractor representation and coordination of all participants Interface & control: You take over the management and control of external engineering offices, architects and construction companies Costs & dates in mind: You are responsible for controlling and reporting for your projects and ensure compliance with budgets and schedules Contract management: You develop public procurement procedures and conduct contract negotiations – from design to supply creation Structured settlement: You check, document and expect planning and construction services and maintain project documentation

Qualification: A completed degree in architecture or civil engineering with a focus on building / project management or a comparable qualification Experience & know-how: Multi-year professional experience in construction project management, ideally in the municipal environment Regulatory safety: Funded knowledge in VOB, HOAI, AHO and in building, planning and contract law Structured mode of operation: You think solution-oriented, work independently and keep an overview of complex projects Communication strength: You are a team player and bring negotiation skills Digital Competence & Mobility: Safe handling of MS Office as well as a Class B driving licence complete your profile
