Internship Research and Development - Embedded Systems Security (m/f/d)

Become part of the team ''Embedded Systems & Mechatronic Systems'' and take over the following exciting tasks: You analyse the requirements of the Cyber Resilience Act and derive from what obligations arise for connected products with digital elements. You will unleash guidelines for secure embedded systems in the craft by combining legal requirements, relevant industry standards and existing systems and preparing them in practice. You implement security requirements in communication between devices (device-to-device) and test procedures such as authentication, encryption and secure key management. You present your interim results in the team and introduce your own solution ideas into further development.

You are studying computer science, IT security, technical computer science or a comparable degree program. You bring good knowledge of Embedded C and have already carried out first projects. Ideally, you already had first contact points with assembler. You are interested in topics related to IT security and want to work deeper. You work independently, you want to actively shape themes and show your own initiative. You have very good German skills (C1) and good English skills.

Your mission is rewarded. For a mandatory internship, you can expect 1,400 € gross per month. If you do a voluntary internship for four months or longer or write your thesis with us, you will receive €2,541 gross per month.
