Your role They are part of the imaging team and work on high-end electron beam systems for microscopy and repair of photomasks. As an expert for firmware, make sure that the software embedded in the components of our electron microscopes meets the high requirements of our electron beam control. Develop, modify and test hardware-related software for modules of our low-energy scanning electron microscopes

Programming of microcontrollers and FPGAs

Develop and specify communication concepts of complex systems

modules developed for firmware and their integration into the overall system

Ensure compliance with design standards and documentation

close cooperation in an interdisciplinary product team

successfully completed university studies in computer science, electrical engineering or a comparable qualification (a doctorate is a plus) at least 5 years of professional experience in the development of hardware-related software (firmware) in the industrial environment

Experience in programming of microcontrollers (e.g. C/C++), FPGA experience in defining and applying design rules for the subsystem

Knowledge in test-driven development (TTD), test automation and integration tests

Communication strength and responsibility

pronounced analytical skills and problem-solving competence

very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
