Project Manager XML Production Systems (m/f/d)

Hüthig Jehle Rehm GmbH is a legal publisher for public administration. For our target groups, we develop online solutions, digital media formats, software and print products that help us work with specialist information. More information: www.rehm-verlag.de In this position, you are in a dedicated team responsible for the development and operation of our central XML-based systems that are needed for the production of publishing products. These systems are designed in a media-neutral manner and guarantee a multiple use of the publishing content in various products as well as a production of digital and printed media. You work in an agile, interdisciplinary team at the interface between IT, manufacturing, product management, editorial staff and external development partners. Especially in the field of specialist information, it is of strategic importance for us as a publisher to continuously develop the digital methods for product creations and to meet new requirements. To keep pace with this dynamic, we rely on agile project development methods. We plan a project to rebuild our central production system - an exciting Scrum-based project that shapes the digital future of our specialist information products.

You will participate in the project “Redesign our XML-based editorial and production system” You define the publishing requirements for the topics CMS, production workflow, production functions and implement them independently with external development partners: This includes maintenance, further development, requirement testing (necessaryness, feasibility, costs/benefits), service provider control, testing and approval of the adjustments, monitoring of operation and hosting, as well as the supervision of data conversions (especially exchange formats) You are in your role as project manager:in charge of complex projects with agile and classic project management methods Technically support the specialist departments in the use of XML production systems, perform fault analyses and ensure data validation In addition, you develop and monitor automated data processes between production systems and online publishing platforms and ensure seamless digital publication processes

A completed technical (specialist) university degree, preferably with a focus on computer science, and ideally professional experience in publishing brings you with Finding XML, XSLT, XPATH and HTML skills as well as experience in dealing with schemas and schemas You have experiences with relational database systems and knowledge in SQL as well as a strong understanding of data modeling and metadata structures with You have practical experience with CMS and workflow systems as well as managing external service providers, ideally with knowledge of agile project implementation (Scrum/Kanban) You have the pleasure of penetrating complex technical relationships and at the same time giving help not technically experienced users understandably You work structured, responsibly and independently and have a pronounced social competence Outstanding communication skills and expertise to host complex IT projects complete your profile
