vgbe energy e. V. is the technical association for operators of energy plants. Our members generate electricity, heat and cold in around 30 countries – open to technology, connected internationally and forward-looking. In the Renewable Energy Department, we are working on innovative questions on the further development of sustainable energy systems and actively engage in international EU research and innovation projects.

To strengthen our project team, we are looking for a dedicated personality with a focus on exploiting, market transfer and strategic exploitation of research results in hydropower and hybrid energy systems. You work with leading partners from industry and research in two international EU research projects. The position is in full-time and project-related, initially limited to two years.
Your focus Exploitation strategy and market transfer Analysis of influencing factors on recovery (IPR, confidentiality, competition, regulatory framework) Assessment of risks, market entry barriers and scaling potentials Further development of existing exploitation master plans Development of strategic roadmaps to use project results after project completion Creating a Sectoral Marketing and Dissemination Concept Monitoring and Evaluation of Knowledge Transfer and Exploitation Activities
Project coordination and stakeholder management Close cooperation with the internal project team and international partners Participation in reports, reviews and deliverables Preparation and moderation of workshops Implementation of thematic market and technology analyses
Complete university studies in energy engineering, economic engineering, environmental sciences, innovation management or a comparable degree programme Experience in research or innovation projects, ideally in the EU context Knowledge of technology transfer, exploitation or innovation strategy Structured and analytical methods Representative communication and moderation competence Very good knowledge of English and German in word and writing
Working in international, interdisciplinary research projects with high political and industrial relevance Building an International Network in the Energy Industry Design space in the market transfer of innovative energy technologies Flexible working hours and hybrid or remote work A dynamic environment at the interface of research and industry Compensation according to qualification and experience in accordance with the GWE tariff
